The other night after rehearsal Joby and Albert spent about an hour recording a song I just wrote called “How Far Gone.” You can hear it on their MySpace page by CLICKING HERE.
We performed it in Phoenix Tuesday night and it was very well received (no pity claps…) so I think it’ll end up as a fixture on the setlist, at least for a while. It’s a song of disappointment, healing, and forgiveness, and I hope it speaks half as loudly to you as it has to me since I finished it last week.
To all who came out last night at St. Gabriel’s, thanks a TON. We had a great time and are looking forward to seeing you again on Sunday. To all on their way to NCCYM in Las Vegas, we can’t wait to hang out! Everybody should try to come by the hotel lobby on Thursday at 12:30 and Ballroom B on Saturday at 1:15. Other than that we’ll be hanging at the GIA/Disciple Records booth and the Aftermass Records booth.
